Any : Any post-operative complication should be discussed with the treating gynecologist or surgeon to be sure that their specific treatment plans are carried out. Contacting the treating gynecologist or their nurse is usually the first line of action. Being sure that the patient is taking enough fluids is usually helpful for constipation. Over-the-counter laxatives can be helpful; most pharmacists can make a recommendation based on the patient's complaints.
