What can be done if i think they missed what is wrong with me in my egd i had severe chest pain 1/23/12 have had all cardiac issues dismissed. now looked at my esophogus. doctor stated today after egd. its normal. still have pain in center of chest just

You : You can always seek a second opinion. Also know that after an egd you may have some discomfort after the procedure, which could be what you are feeling. If you do seek a second opinion request a copy of the video or pictures of the endoscopy so your new doctor can review and give you their opinion. Best of luck finding answers.

Other possibilities: Maybe the pain is not esophageal in origin. Non-cardiac chest pain can be due to many things including musculoskeletal (chest wall) pain, pulmonary problems or possibly the gallbladder. Talk with your doctor.
