do all cervical caps work the same?

Yes: Cervical caps work by blocking the sperm from getting into the uterus to join with the egg. They work best with spermicidal gel. The most important part of using a cervical cap is proper fitting. If you gain or lose weight or have a baby, a cervical cap needs to be refitted.

Yes: Essentially, they all work the same, as a barrier for sperm.
