You : You more likely than not did not have a concussion. You did not knock yourself out and feel fine. You scraped your head and you'd expect that to be painful. Usually the symptoms are most troublesome in the first twelve hours. If you do develop dizziness, double vision, confusion, or worsening headache call your primary care doctor. The interesting thing is that the skull and scalp act to diffuse the energy in this kind of glancing blow. The most common result is a nasty bruise.

Depends: The effects of concussions can vary and be unpredictable. It depends on the severity of the injury. The best thing is to give your brain complete rest. The more stain you place on your brain while it is attempting to heal, the more likely it is to slow down the healing process.
Tylenol can be used to treat the headache.
