First : First off, i want to tell you that i cannot diagnose your wrist problem. Your symptoms might be consistent with carpal tunnel syndrome. Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve gets compressed at the wrist. Symptoms can include pain, numbness, or tingling in the palm, wrist, thumb, or fingers. The thumb can become weak. Possible causes can include making repetitive wrist movements (like typing for a living), obesity, pregnancy, diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis. Please talk to your doctor about an evaluation by a hand surgeon.
