Congratulations : Congratulations for addressing your issues! you may want to ask your pcp for a referral to a psychiatrist or psychologist to help you in handling your stress in a more positive way. Another idea you may want to think about is joining a group such as weight watchers for an overall diet plan and support group. They have the highest success rate of any program available. You can also consider seeing a nutritionist to devise healthy meal plans and lifestyle changes. An exercise trainer can also help you come up with a sustainable exercise plan. Good luck!

A therapist: You may need a new pcm, some aren't familiar enough or comfortable treating eating disorders to help. A counselor will, especially if you choose one who has expertise in treating eating disorders. I don't think medications are the mainstay of treatment. Counseling is a critical component of treatment.
