Do all drugs, like marijuana, make your eyes red?

Not Every Drug: Marijuana is well known to cause redness in both eyes especially after smoking it. Marijuana causes swelling of the small vessels in the eyes thus causing them to appear red. Any drug that has this effect will cause red eyes. There are many drugs that do not directly cause reddening of the eyes. Rubbing dry eyes, eye strain, and lack of sleep caused by drugs can cause red eyes.
