No single solution: There is no single solution and this may require a combination of skin care, medications (oral and topical), dietary restrictions and more. Seek the advice of a dermatologist for a comprehensive examination.

A 45-year-old member asked:
What is the difference between a flush and having rosacea?

Flush/Rosacea: Flushing simply refers to a reddish hue, usually transient, to the skin such as when someone is embarrassed. Flushing is just one symptom of one type of rosacea and in the case of rosacea there is usually a trigger such as wind or a particular food although emotions can also be one of the triggers.
