Buddy splint: First of all, you should visit a podiatrist for an x-ray to ensure it is in good position. If it is, buddy splint the broken toe by taping it to the toe next to it. Put some lambs wool between them for cushioning.

Immobilization: Toe strapping and rigid surgical shoe. On occasion if displaced, it may require surgical reduction.
