Immune system: It may be your immune system is not functioning well. This could be due to toxic overload, and diet may be a contributing factor. Try reading 'lean green and clean' by dr walter crinnion. See a doctor to make sure nothing is seriously wrong with your immunity.

Maybe: You need to see a physician for an antibiotic prescription. You may need a culture to find out what it is sensitive to. Bacterial infections usually require medication to go away.

Yes: Strep can cause cellulitis which is an infection of the superficial layers of skin or mucus membranes. Cellulitis does not cause strep.

Confirm and treat: The origin of throat pain can be confirmed easily with an office test and if confirmed will respond to treatment with antibiotics.Without antibiotics, the pain may fade but the secondary complications of the disease remain possible.

Strep will go away by the body forming antibodies to a protein on the strep. This protein is almost identical to one in the heart. We treat strep to prevent the body from making these antibodies and prevent rheumatic fever.

Playing the odds: You can always play the odds and see what happens.Like the folk in the early 1900s.They also had strep & it passed. However, about 1/200 developed 1of 3 patterns of complications. The brain thing, chorea, put some in mental hospitals. The kidney thing led to sudden kidney failure that some did not survive. The heart thing ate up heart valves and left many weak for the remainder of a short life.Treat it.
