My elderly mom took half a nitrofurantoin tablet that was prescribed for me. Will she be ok?

Yes: I don't like nitrofurantoin. It can cause serious toxicity to lungs, liver and bone marrow. It is a urinary antiseptic drug that will not treat tissue invasive infections.
