Get Checked: All children with univentricular hearts should be checked when ill. They often become "sicker" than children without heart disease. An spo2 of 80% is expected with some forms of univentricular heart, but i need more info regarding surgeries to know the expected spo2. Bottom line, have the child checked with illnesses to be safe.
