I have a bump/cyst on the side of my head. now, i lost a patch of hair in that area. what could it be? the bump does not hurt. it has dropped in size.

Sebaceous Cyst: Bump just under the skin may be sebacious cyst and can sometimes be associated with hair loss. Sebaceous cyst is typically firm, round and not painful. Definitive treatment of cyst is surgical removal. If related only to the cyst, hair should regrow after cyst is removed.
