Get it checked: Go to see your doctor and have it evaluated. If your doc thinks that is suspicious, he/she will refer you for a biopsy to really see what it is.

Can be many things: A sore or bump in the mouth can be many things. Where is it, what type of tissue is it on? If it is above a tooth, it could be a tooth abscess, if it is on the soft tissue, it could be a plugged saliva duct... It is best to see your dentist or md to evaluate it.
