Yes but : Hypothyroidism is much more frequent and unlikely to be associated. Some causes of hypothyroidism convey an increased risk.

Well Sure: Anybody could have two diseases. However, people with hypothyroid are not more likely to have lupus and vice versa. They are both usually autoimmune diseases but can be caused by other things.
