Probably not: Zantac (ranitidine) does not seem to affect the enzyme system responsible for Methadone metabolism so it appears safe to use both. Your friend should see a physician regarding long-term use of Zantac (ranitidine) anywqay., Methadone taken over prolonged periods can induce its own metabolism.
