What causes a clear mucus like discharge from the vagina?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Kelly Elmore
18 years experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Depends: It could be the timing of the cycle- cervical mucous (normal) or a vaginal infection or a change in the ph balance of the vagina or least likely fallopian tube cancer (very rare) or this may be semen if a person just had unprotected intercourse.
