Actually, Asperger's is a gift if somebody can help you learn social skills which don't come as naturally to you as to other folks. Some of our greatest scientists have been "Aspies", and there's a joy in losing yourself in mental work that "normal folks" can't ever experience. Be polite, listen to others, learn to read body language, relationships are more important than being right, etc.

Tough question: In order to answer that, one would have to design questions to get inside of the heads of male and female ASD patients to determine what it is that they experience and then compare to see what the differences may be.
