Sometimes with ultrasound you can watch a follicle grow in size and then collapse at the time of ovulation. The most obvious sign of ovulation is a pregnancy that occurs. At home the over-the-counter ovulation predictor kits are at times fairly accurate in predicting ovulation approximately 1 to 2 days before.
