Interesting: At 18 weeks after the last normal period, a pregnancy is almost halfway along. It's the time to schedule a targeted ultrasound. Also it is the point to ask about risk factors and learn what to expect. At each visit OB will assess if diet and weight gain are appropriate. Fetal movement should be felt often by this point. If you have a specific questions, please ask so we can answer.

Please ask your doc: ?S like this, you should not be shy to ask your doc that is your OB docs job or his nurse's job to answer any questions or concerns you may have with any aspect of your preg and if they do not call you back or answer your ?S then find a new ob, , it is normal you may not feel any movement until 20-21 weeks but i assume you should be getting a fetal anatomy scan at 19-20 weeks to check everything.

Baby at 18 weeks: Your baby should be 5 1/2 inches long and weigh about 7 oz. At 18 weeks. Typically, gestational sac measurements, used widely in the 1st trimester, are supplanted by more detailed and accurate measurements, such as bi-parietal diameter, crown-rump length, and head and femur size by ultrasound in your 2nd trimester. Your OB can provide the details at your next ultrasound appointment.

See your OB: You may have your dates off or the fetus is just small. Your OB can examine you and reassure you.
