VIRAL INFECTION: Your symptoms are consistent with an upper respiratory viral infection. Evidence over the last 2 decades demonstrate viral infection to be the cause of 98% of all upper resp. Infections. The nausea and vertigo suggest that you may have developed a viral infection of the inner ear. There is no specific treatment for this but it should resolve in a matter of weeks. Supportive treatment only.
