Sedating combo: Citalopram is commonly used for both depression and anxiety disorders; Clonazepam sometimes also for sleep or temporarily while your body is getting accustomed to the citalopram. Depending on doses of these and the identity and doses of your "muscle relaxers, " you could end up with slurred speech, slowed reaction time, and general sedation.

Be Wise With Meds: Clonazepam and citalopram are reasonable medicines for anxiety and panic. There can be possible issues with dependence if Clonazepam is used over the long term so you would need to be careful about that. Also, the medicine you are currently taking for your back in combination with Clonazepam could result in increased sedation. It would be a good idea to discuss this with your physician.
