Stress/ortho/TMD: There are many reasons why someone may grind their teeth, most common is stress but also the way your teeth come together can promote grinding. This may be caused by the position and alignment (orthodontics) of your teeth or by a joint issue (tmj dissorder). You may need a specialist to figure it out, in the mean time keep using the night guards to prevent more damage.
