does doing cardio everyday in gym will have any ill effects on my body ? i find wieght training sort of boring.

NO: The opposite. Cardio will increase your metabolism, burn fat and strengthen your heart muscle. Weight training can be boring so try body sculpting which requires much more skill and thought if you want to be leaned and defined. If not cardio is still great and you will be lean and healthy.
