Too long: You've already gone too long. See your doctor. After you're better, deveop an action plan whereby you have different plans dependind on your breathing. This should keep you out of the er.

Time to seek help: You may be able to continue in your weakened state for longer but why take chances. I'll assume you have done what you can with any meds you have on hand & not improved. If this is interfering with your life it's time to get in & get extra help.
