No difference: Elaxine and Effexor are two names for the same drug--venlafaxine. All antidepressants, such as them, are pro-convulsant. Therefor be careful when combining these drugs. Epilim is valproate, a drug with numerous drug interactions. Make sure your valproate level is within the therapeutic level. Consult your neurologist about potential drug interactions.
