Likely normal: It's normal to feel pressure and soreness as the pregnancy progresses. Sometimes women have difficulty discriminating contraction pain, versus pain and pressure of normal pregnancy. Contractions feel like a tightening and are episodic, meaning they come in waves and are timed. Constant soreness is often ligament stretching and/or compression of structures in the pelvis.
