Yes: 40's female w. Fibromyalgia desires more energy ; needs thyroid function checked. Sleep can be improved with medicinal cannabis, but only under doctor supervision ; in state where legal. Aquatherapy would help to increase muscle tone and strength. Some doctors report benefits of ribose. Yerba mate tea is a consideration. Tea of hops can help sleep, ; hops product, vicoprin, reputed as analgesic.

Fibromyalgia: Yes, the majority of cases of fibromyalgia can be turned around with the appropriate treatment program. This is not easy and not taught to the majority of our nation's doctors, but it is available. I treat these patients all the time and have a 85-90% success rate if they follow the protocols for fibromyalgia.

No: As far as we know, no. In fact it is not felt to shorten lifespan at all. However it is a painful condition with a variety of manifestations. Its severity can range from mild where people lead completely normal lives to severe where people are significantly disabled.
