Need to see a Doctor: Hi doug:
in order to know for sure if you have a methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) you will need to be evaluated by a physician, such as primary care doctor or a dermatologist. The diagnosis of MRSA is made based on a swab culture that is sent to a clia certified lab for evaluation. Mrsa can be a serious infection and you need to have it evaluated properly by a physician.
