Check again: Yes you should check again. If you think you might be pregnant then check every three days for at least one or two more tests. The sensitive urine pregnancy test usually pick it up within a week of missing your cycle.

Things to ponder: These tests rely on the production of chemicals by a newly formed embryo that would show up in your pee. It is more likely to be false negative than false positive. An early morning specimen is often more concentrated and may be more accurate. You can do a test every few days if you are concerned. Some women just skip a cycle occasionally.

Periods: Periods vary widely from woman to woman. Some periods are punctual, some are unpredictable. See your doctor who may prescribe you oral contraceptives to regulate your menstrual period. You seem to have some element of dysmenorrhea too.

Missed period: It is not unusual to have an occasional delayed period. Chances are that you may get the period soon. Pregnancy test can be repeated after one week of delayed period. Good luck
