IT DEPENDS: On your level of activity, but typically you want to drink 6 - 8 ounces of water with meals, and an extra 20-30 in between. Water you use for coffee, tea, etc counts towards those ounces, and you should just cut the pop. Too much sodium per can, even if they are diet. Its been shown tat pop will decrease certain substances that tell your brain you are full, so skip them altogether please.

Too much soda: Don't confuse liquids and water as being the same. What quantity of water is 2 or 3 a day? Ideally you should be consuming at least 4-6 glasses of 6 ounces of water a day. The soda is capable of destroying your teeth, the abundance of sugar could affect you encouraging a diabetic issue. Bottom line, a little soda posibly at meal time and more water throughout the day.
