i think i have a mild case of food poisoning, what is the difference between food poisoning and a stomach virus and how long does it lasy?

Some stomach viruses generate significant fevers at their onset, >102 for kids,I don't expect anything more than low grade fever for the stress in food poisoning.

Usually can't: Usually can't, unless stool studies are obtained that detect bacteria consistent with food poisoning.
