Guys weren't checked: Usually, the first stop when a couple cannot conceive is the woman's gynecologist. The standard teaching with infertility is that the male factor plays a role about 50% of the time, so a semen analysis should always be obtained and properly evaluated by a lab when a couple can't get pregnant. If there are significant abnormalities it should be repeated and the patient referred to a urologist.

Doctor can evaluate: For new onset of asthma symptoms in an adult, he can see and follow-up with his primary care doctor. If symptoms are difficult to get rid of, or are unusual, the patient can see an allergy & asthma specialist, and/or see a pulmonologist (lung doctor). Pulmonary function tests and allergy tests can be helpful when looking for the best treatments. For bad symptoms, the E.R. Is the place to go to.

Wart.: I often tell my patients who have palmar or plantar warts that they may need several treatments for these resistant warts on the skin of these areas. This is thicker skin, and therefore more resistant to treatment. I usually freeze it or laser it several times in conjunction with topical therapy.
