VEry Dangerous: If one were to stop breathing during an asthma attack then very aggressive invasive procedures would be done to save that persons life. Most likely that person would be inutubated, have a breathing tube placed in their airway, so that they could be mechanically ventilated. Depending upon others clinical conditions of pt more maneuvers would be done as well.

Depends on what type: Albuterol mdi's may cause a bad taste for some but shouldn't cause oral problems. Steroid mdi's or powder units can cause oral problems like yeast infections (thrush), throat irritation and hoarseness in kids or adults but also, rare effects can include mild osteoporosis, cataract and glaucoma development, mood changes, weight gain and extremely rare - cushing syndrome.
