Be careful!: I hope you have a good reason; should only stop in conjunction with your doctor and should not assume you will experience this effect. One study, which controlled for the placebo effect, indicated that only approximately one in five individuals actually experiencce a discontinuation syndrome when stopping a medication like paxil (paroxetine). That said, while it can occur earlier, average onset is two days.
