List of fixes: It helps if mom/dad make a list of what things they can do something about, for those times they are tired & can't think clearly. Offer feed if not fed within last 2hr. Warm if cold. Cool off if warm. Change if dirty. Console if in need of nurturing. A warm bath can relax them. If nothing works & baby is otherwise well, put on the headphones & let the kid figure it out.

Find the reason : Babie cry for a number of reasons: hungry, wet, tired. All the time though sounds more like a digestive problem (colicky). If breastfeeding- stop all dairy. It can cause allergies and gas and belly pain. If bottle feeding consider going to a formula like nutramigen or alimentum. Add probiotics 1/8 tsp twice a day. Talk to your doctor too for other ideas.

How can I get my baby to stop crying

Address the cause: Few things are more distressing than a baby that won't stop crying.Babies cry for a reason so the key is to figure out the cause, which could be a wet diaper, hunger, teething, colic, fear etc.Once you find and address the cause the baby will calm down. The tricky part is your baby can't use words so you have to play detective. See https://tinyurl.com/yxcyhlsz and https://tinyurl.com/yxnab2pq

Is it normal that my baby doesn't stop crying?

Yes: Unfortunately, up to 4 hours in a row is expected for a colicky baby. Colics are less common in breast fed babies (forgot to add that to the "advantages of breast feeding" answer!), and the only thing i found that works consistently is a car ride (with the baby, not away from her!).
