My left eye is red and its been watering a lot especially when i look in light it hurts and burns and today when i woke up its still red and i had cold in it what could this be?

Because this is persistent, might be infectious and could be visually threatening, you should see your ophthalmologist as soon as practical to get a proper diagnosis.
