can you have fluid come out your nose or ears after a tonsilectomy and tubes put in the ears?

Frequent problem: After t&a the soft palate doesn't move as well. Also, the removal of the adenoid means the palate has to move significantly more to close off the nose from the mouth when swallowing. So it happens that fluid sometimesrefluxes up into the nose after this surgery. Try drinking slowly, and while sitting or standing up, not in bed or lying down. .It's usually gone in a couple of weeks.
