at what age can infants start holding their bottle?

The best answer is n: It's best if an infant never lies down holding a bottle. Formula & juices sit around the teeth & these are toddlers & preschoolers w/ rotted brown nubs or silver caps for front teeth. Some studies showed more ear infections. An 8/9 month old can often hold a bottle but should only do so at meal time in the high chair. Walking around w/ a bottle leads to cavities, poor feeding & often anemia.
