Nutrient dense foods: Eat foods that are nutrient dense (like meat, fish, poultry, eggs, cheese, low starch vegatables and water) avoid foods that are not nutrient dense (like starches and sugars, including fruit)
nutrient dense foods will increase your basal metabolic rate. On the other hand, starches and sugars impair thyroid metabolism via affects on your liver (which helps activate thyroid hormone).

What kind of food I should eat to lose weight?

Low calorie foods: Helpful weight loss diets include natural foods that take time to chew but contain few calories. Examples include carrots, celery, and iceberg lettuce (without salad dressing). When shopping for fruits, buy small ones no bigger than a tennis ball, because fruits contain natural sugar. Drinks without calories include water and green tea. A calorie is a calorie, regardless of where it comes from.

If you conse it raw: You may have significant weight loss from diarrhea from consuming raw food and possibly contaminated stuff but overall, the healthier your food , the healthier you are as long as your portions have less calories than why you are burning.

No easy answer: Your question is highly relevant to which we unfortunately have no good answer. You could try to distract yourself, by engaging in an activity like walking, cleaning, and eating small amounts of healthy foods like carrots. It is important not to keep unhealthy foods in the house. If you are part of a support group, you may wish to discuss the matter to see how others are handling it.
