Food allergy: Though more common in children both food allergy and more commonly sensitivity can occur in adults.
Dr. Andrew Murphy
Allergy and Immunology 29 years experience
Possible: The most common food allergens are egg, milk, wheat, soy, peanuts / tree nuts. Fish and shellfish. The first five allergens typically occur on children and adults typically will develop shellfish allergens.
Dr. James Ferguson
Pediatrics 46 years experience
Certainly: Allergy requires two factors. A system with the tendency and exposure to a food it decides is an invader. Some rather less dependable "food allergy" skin or blood tests based on IgG response will become positive to increasing numbers of items in many people as they get older. Dangerous IgE reactivity is much less common but can be acquired with age.

Why is my 2 year old daughters stool always a shade of green? I rarely give her juice or food coloring so it cannot be the dye...

Normal!: It is not uncommon in some children. If the stool is formed , child is growing i would not worry about it. It is often from green leafy vegetables, coloring agents in the food or simply due to rapid transit from small intestine to large intestine where it normally is tuned brown.
