Sleepiness: You have difficulty awakening and this sleepiness could be due to sleep apnea, circadian rhythm problems like late sleeping or early awakening with poor sleep hygiene or insufficient sleep. Other causes of poor and fragmented sleep needs to be considered as well.. Early mornings we also have longer and deeper sleep periods called rem sleep and it is generally harder to awaken from them.
