Osteopenia: Osteopenia is a lower than normal bone density, but not so low that it is considered osteoporosis. See your primary care physician to determine what your course of treatment, if any should be. Best of luck!

Yes: Likely, more so for osteopenia than osteoporosis. Weight bearing exercises, making sure vitamin d and calcium intake is maximized. Vitamin k2 is also good and under appreciated in the medical community.

Low bone density.: Osteopenia is low bone density but not to the same degree as in osteoporosis. If bone loss continues osteoporosis is likely to develop.

Osteopenia : Patients with osteopenia need to make sure they are getting adequate calcium and vitamin d intake (through diet or supplements), stop smoking and increase their weight-bearing exercises. Doing the above will strengthen bones and prevent progression to osteoporosis.
