Mesothelioma&asbesto: Exposure does not mean you will automatically develop mesothelioma. Not everyone who smokes gets lung cancer.Developing cancer is related to exposure and genetic factors in the individual.Everyones cancer is unique to them.Asbestos and smoking does increase the risk of developing mesothelioma. If the asbesto was not airborne than there really is no risk of inhaling any of the fibers..
