Varies: Can be an office banding procedure, surgical excision in an operating room, or newer option of internal hemorrhoid stapling procedure in the operating room.

Many options: Exist for internal hemorrhoids. Injections in the office and rubber band ligation in the office are simple ways to alleviate bleeding internal hemorrhoids. Using a doppler guided device to attack the blood supply (thdamerica.Com) or a stapling device are very effective for internal hemorrhoids that fall out or prolapse.
