Yes: Asthma in some of its milder forms is often mislabeled in kids as bronchitis or recurrent pneumonia. As you age the pattern may become more definite & recognizable.

In addition, symptoms of asthma can present later in life and not present in childhood at all.

Yes: Asthma can develop at any age. Majority of those diagnosed with asthma in childhood are asymptomatic or have a significant improvement in their symptoms by the time they reach adulthood. Adult asthmatics however are unlikely to achieve complete remission of their symptoms.

Depends: Most children with asthma still have asthma as adults, although the severity of asthma can change over time.
