Get surgery: None that any doctor would recommend.

There are cases of early appendicitis which have been treated by some doctors with antibiotics, but most physicians would strongly recommend surgical intervention ASAP.

Surgery Best Option: Studies show that some people with acute appendicitis may be treated with antibiotics alone. However, most will progress to rupture (and worse) without surgery. Until we can predict who can avoid surgery, the safest choice is to proceed with surgery for all. Thankfully, this can often be done via minimally invasive surgery, a short recovery, and minimal pain.
