A 30-year-old member asked:
How do you know if you're pmsing or there is a different condition all together?

Timing of symptoms: Pms stands for premenstrual syndrome and occurs a few days before the onset of your period up to a week or so. There are a range of symptoms with pms, some emotional and some physical. However, the onset of the period improves them. If your symptoms last the entire month it is less likely to be pms. See you ob/gyn to clarify the issue. Pmdd is a severe mood disturbance around the same time.
