YES!: It has been proven beyond a doubt in medical studies that increased tv time is assciated with obesity, cardiovascular desease, diabetes and other medical problems that arise from sedentary lifestyle. It is not know what effect large amounts of tv have on the developing brains of children, but it is not believed ot harm the brain or cogntive function of adults.
