Not normal: It is not normal to begin your period that early. Without knowing if someone your age is using hormonal contraception, it is not possible to determine if this is just a medication side effect. If a pattern like this is repetitive, then seek the advice of your physician. If it is just a single occurrence, then it is unlikely to indicate a significant problem.
